HEALTHCONNECT ONE PRIVACY POLICY

Last Updated: September 3, 2026

HealthConnect One (“HealthConnect One,” “we,” or “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy and security. We want you to understand how we collect and use information from our website (the “Site”) and in connection with the informational resources, support, and doula match features we provide (collectively with the Site, the “Service”). We respect your right to privacy when you use our Services, communicate with us electronically, and otherwise provide us with your Personal Information. We have developed this Privacy Policy to inform you of how we handle the Personal Information you provide us.

By using the Services, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy and the Terms of Use linked at the bottom of any page of the Site. Whenever you submit information to the Site, whether through a computer or mobile device, or otherwise provide your Personal Information to us, you consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of that information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Information We Collect

“Personal Information” refers to any information that identifies, relates to, describes, is reasonably capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly, with a particular individual.

The Personal Information we collect about you depends on your relationship with us. We may collect Personal Information directly from individuals (e.g., when you sign up for our newsletter, submit a contact or intake form, or use our doula match service), through our communications, indirectly via tracking technologies on our Site, or from third parties that provide your information with your authorization or otherwise on your behalf. Specifically:

Information You Provide Directly. When you contact us through our Site, complete a contact form, sign up for our newsletter, submit an intake form, or otherwise communicate with us, you may provide us with Personal Information including your full name, mailing address, email address, telephone number, date of birth, and any other information you choose to include in your correspondence or submissions.

Our Site also uses donation forms from donors to support our work.  We may collect the donor’s contact information, such as name, billing address, and email address.  We may also collect contact information so that we can send acknowledgments, donation receipt letters, and information about HealthConnect One.  Users may opt out of receiving future mailings (see Your Privacy Rights below).  HealthConnect One partners with Network for Good to securely process online payments, including credit card information that is collected.  These transactions are subject to Network for Good’s Privacy, Security & Disclosure Statement.

Information Collected Through Communications. We may collect and retain the contents of emails, telephone call logs, voicemail messages, online chat transcripts, text messages, and any other communications between you and HealthConnect One. These communications may contain Personal Information that you voluntarily disclose.

Information Collected Automatically. When you visit our Site, certain information may be collected automatically through cookies, web beacons, server logs, and similar technologies. This information may include your Internet Protocol (IP) address, browser type and version, operating system, referring website URL, pages visited on our website, date and time of your visit, time spent on individual pages, and general geographic location derived from your IP address.

Information From Third-Party Sources. If you provide us Personal Information relating to other individuals, you warrant that you have the authority to do so, and where required, have obtained the necessary consent, and acknowledge that it may be used in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Information Collected Through Meta Lead Forms.  When you submit a lead form on Facebook or Instagram: (i) Meta collects and transmits your information to us according to Meta’s Privacy Policy; (ii) We receive and store your lead form responses in our customer relationship management systems; (iii) We use this information to follow up on your inquiry and provide requested information; and (iv) Your submission may also be tracked by our Meta Pixel for advertising optimization.

HealthConnect One does not knowingly collect sensitive personal information or reproductive health data through this website or its services, including information related to pregnancy, birth, breastfeeding, doula services, or other reproductive health care. Please do not submit any sensitive personal information or reproductive health data through any form, email, message, communication, or other channel available on or through this website. If you believe you have inadvertently submitted this type of information to HealthConnect One, please contact us immediately so that we can address it. If HealthConnect One learns that it has inadvertently collected sensitive personal information or reproductive health data, HealthConnect One will delete that information immediately.

Doula Match Service

Our Site offers a doula match feature that allows you to search for a doula using filters such as location, services, and preferences. The doula match feature doesn’t retain the search criteria you enter or the results you view, and we don’t use it to build a profile about you. It doesn’t collect or retain sensitive personal information or reproductive health data. Please do not submit this type of information through the matching tool itself. If you choose to contact a doula, you do so directly and independently, off of our Site, and any information you share with a doula is governed by that doula’s own privacy practices, not this Privacy Policy.

Our Site uses cookies and similar tracking technologies to enhance your browsing experience, analyze website traffic, and understand how visitors interact with our Site.

Managing Your Cookie Preferences. Most web browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings. You can typically set your browser to block all cookies, block third-party cookies, or alert you when a cookie is being set. Please note that disabling cookies may affect the functionality of our website and your ability to use certain features. For more information about managing cookies in your browser, consult your browser’s help documentation. You can also manage ad preferences directly with Google, Meta, and Roku.

Do Not Track Signals. Some web browsers transmit “Do Not Track” signals to websites. There is currently no universally accepted standard for how websites should respond to these signals.
